The last few days, we had an exciting time in none other than Daintree Rainforest. Currently, this is the oldest rainforest in the world. It is even older than the amazon, which is 50 million years old. Daintree Rainforest is 120 million years old!!! I have never been to a rainforest before, and I had no idea I was in for a treat.
This is view from our ecolodge:

We went on a guided walk through the forest. We saw so many trees, and learned a lot of interesting facts. We saw trees over a thousand years old and a tree that had over 3 symbiotic relationships with ants, beetles and bees. One tree, called the fan palm weaves it's own cloth. We saw some crazy and very very weird trees.

We went to a crocodile cruise, but didn't see any crocodiles. But, we learned a lot about mangrove forests!
We went to this awesome ice cream place. They had cool flavours like jackfruit, mango, wattleseed, and plum.
Loved reading about the rainforest!! Looks so beautiful
Some cool trees. I have never heard of wattleseed ice cream.
